Meet Dr Smariti Kapila
Dr Smariti Kapila is an Australian trained Ear Nose and Throat Surgeon, and a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. She is also a member of the Australasian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, and of the American Academy of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
Her mission is to deliver compassionate and comprehensive medical care for each and every one of her patients.
She has trained in Sydney, Adelaide and Darwin, and has trained internationally in the USA and Switzerland. This has included time at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and Luzerner Kantonsspital in Lucerne, Switzerland.
She has worked in some of Sydney’s leading hospitals during her training, including the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Prince of Wales Hospital and Liverpool Hospital.
She has also worked in Darwin, Northern Territory, including the Community Outreach program, taking her and the team to Indigenous communities in remote locations such as Nhulumbuy and Katherine in the Northern Territory.
She also enjoyed working in Adelaide, where she had the opportunity to train at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, The Women’s and Children’s Hospital, The Queen Elizabeth II Hospital, Modbury Hospital and Flinders Medical Centre Hospital.
She is currently consulting in locations in the Sydney CBD, Burwood and Bankstown in Sydney, and operates in East Sydney (Woolloomoolloo), Hunters Hill, and Sydney South West (Liverpool) Private Hospitals.
